Hiya Client SDK Features

Hiya's SDK provides a range of features to your user's experience receiving phone calls, preventing unwanted calls and identifying businesses as well as individuals.

Caller Identification

The Hiya Client SDK can provide real time identity and reputation look up for incoming calls. Branded identity information for Hiya Connect customers, including logo and call reason when available.

Call Blocking

The SDK can block unwanted calls, helping users avoid spam and fraud. Additionally the Android SDK supports blocking Private Numbers. This functionality is available on iOS through the phone's Settings app.

Enhanced Call Log

This feature is currently only available on Android.

Show users the identities provided by Hiya for calls in their call log.

Personal Block List

Allows your users to manage a list of phone numbers that they want the app to block. Call Blocking must be enabled for this feature to work. This uses local data and these numbers are not reported to Hiya's servers.

Phone Number Lookup

The SDK can look up phone numbers to provide additional information about the caller.

User Reporting

The Hiya Client SDK allows users to report unwanted calls, helping to improve the accuracy of call identification and blocking.
